We’re super excited to welcome Aardman Animation’s Senior Model Maker, Jim Parkyn, for a model making workshop this half term!
Join us on Wednesday 14th February to make a plasticine figure with help of Jim, one of the most experienced and talented model makers in the animation industry, and be part of something amazing.
Jim has been the hands behind some of Aardman’s most loved films and characters – including Wallace & Gromit, Shaun The Sheep, Chicken Run, Timmy Time and Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists. Now he’s coming to Bruton, and he’s bringing his Amazing Scene Machine along too!
You’ll have the opportunity to make a plasticine figure to add to Jim’s scene – and as it’s Valentine’s Day, the theme of this amazing creation will be LOVE.
As the scene grows throughout the day, it will make a stop-frame animation video that we can all watch back at the end – we can’t wait!
Tickets are £5 per person, which includes ONE model to add to the scene. Adults do not need a ticket, unless they’d like to make a model.
Suitable for ages 5+. FYI: the shop will open as usual, so feel to bring younger children who wish to play with our LEGO or do some colouring in.
We have divided the day into two time slots: 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00. Please book your tickets according to the time slot you would like.
Expect your session to last up to 1 hour. You can arrive up to an hour into your allocated slot – for example, if you book the 10:00-12:00 slot, you can arrive anytime up to 11:00. If you book the 13:00-15:00 slot, you can arrive up to 14:00.
Spaces are limited to book yours asap.
See you there!
