MENTAL HEALTH: DISCUSS.
A lot of people are talking about mental health these days – and that’s a good thing, right?
But how do we start talking about it? Is there a right or wrong way to talk about it? And what happens when you’re made to feel that you’re not qualified to talk about something so intrinsically…personal?
It’s important to encourage useful, impactful and productive conversations about an issue that affects so many of us – and not simply jump on a zeitgeist.
So, join us in conversation with Claire Possamai, aka PANIC THE MOTHER, as we get to the heart and soul of the thing. Because however you want to approach it, it really is GOOD to talk.
Claire is all about challenging views around mental health. Having spoken candidly about being diagnosed with OCD, ADHD, Agoraphobia, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and PTSD, she’s using her voice to share her experiences and, most importantly, inspire others to talk openly about theirs.
We seriously dig what she’s doing…BUT she has also been on the receiving end of negativity for talking about mental health in “the wrong way.” Want to hear what she has to say? Come and welcome this sassy Essex mama to Somerset.
